This is Mary at the Vortex, a mixed media work on wood panel. It measures 24" X36".
 
A portrait of my wife, Mary in Sedona, AZ. I took the photo around 2002 while living in Sedona and finally made this work around 2022. I printed the photo and glued it to the wood panel and proceeded to paint over it.  Sedona was/is a magical place and was where I met Mary in 1999.  We spent lots of time hiking and exploring the enchanted landscape.  This image mirrors my feelings about both she and Sedona.
